Chameleon - SML Privacy Policies
TSI built the Chameleon – SML app as a Free app.
This SERVICE is provided by TS Infotech India Pvt. Ltd. for their client Seaboard Marine Ltd is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Chameleon – SML unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy. Chameleon - SML must receive or collect some information to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services. Our Services have optional features which, if used by you, require us to collect additional information to provide such features. You will be notified of such collection, as appropriate. If you choose not to provide the information needed to use a feature, you will be unable to use the feature. For example, you cannot share your location with your vendor/Trucking company if you do not permit us to collect your location data from your device. Permissions can be managed through your Settings menu on both Android and IOS devices.
Our Privacy Policy helps explain our data practices, including the information we process to provide our Services in Application.
For example, our Privacy Policy talks about what information we collect and how this affects app uses.
This Privacy Policy applies to all of our Services unless specified otherwise.
Information We Collect
Your Account Information. user registration is done on a web portal designed explicitly by TS InfoTech and will be used only for specific users registered on the portal. There is no registration button available in the "Chameleon – SML".
If the user is not registered with the web portal, then user will not be able to login to our application " Chameleon – SML ".
Customer Support And Other Communications. When you contact us for customer support or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide us with information related to your use of our Services.
Automatically Collected Information
- Usage And Log Information. We collect information about your activity on our Application, like service-related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activity (including how you use our Application and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities), diagnostic, crash and performance logs.
- Location Information.
We collect and use precise location information from your device with your permission when the job is started by you. There are certain settings relating to location-related information which you can find in your device settings or the in-app settings. Even if you do not start job, we collect your location on button action to estimate your general location (e.g., city and country or your current location).
You'll see a request prompted by your device for permission to share your location information when you sign up for Chameleon – SML, which includes location data collected via bluetooth and nearby wifi signals and mobile data. As a default, for the best service available the app asks you to turn on location services "Allow only while using the app." We use location data to track the exact location and share the data with Seaboard Marine for visibility of the end users i.e. Customers/Vendors. We will have access to the location even when the app is closed or not in use.
If you're using an Any mobile device, you have 3 location settings to choose from:
- Allow all the time: We may collect location information at any time, even when you're not actively using the Chameleon – SML. If a service needs "Allow all the time" we'll ask for your permission when you enable the service.
- Allow only while using the app: We may collect location information when the app is visible on your screen or when you have on a job. You'll get a persistent notification in your Android notification panel if location is being collected in the background when you are in the "While using the app" setting.

Deny: This option disables location services for the Chameleon – SML. You will not be able to use the app.
You can always manage your location settings in your device's location preferences.
We treat your location information in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
How We Use Information
We use information we have (subject to choices you make and applicable law) to operate, provide, improve, understand. Here's how:
- Our Services. We use information we have to understand how people use our Application, evaluate and improve our Application, research, develop, and test new services and features and conduct troubleshooting activities.
- No Third-Party Banner Ads. We do not allow third-party banner ads on our Application. We have no intention to introduce them, but if we ever do, we will update this Privacy Policy.
Information You And We Share
You share your information as you use our Application, and we share your information to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support our Services in the Application.
- Send Your Information To Those Who assign you task(jobs). You share your information as you use and communicate through our Application.
- Third-Party Service Providers. We work with third-party service providers like firebase to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, support our Application.
ANDROID:
Chameleon- SML collects location data to enable user tracking even when the app is closed or not in use.
We collect and use precise location information from your device in specified interval with your permission when you start any trip in "Chameleon - SML" application until your trip is completed.
Following example is the detail description of how location services are being used.
Steps:
1. Trucker login to the application. After logging in trucker can view all the list of jobs which trucker might can accept or reject.
2. When the trucker accept/Reject/Start/Complete Jobs, The current location of the trucker is being share with web portal.
3. Once the trucker start the Job: “Chameleon - SML" collects current location at predefined intervals to enable Trucker tracking on web portal even when the app is closed or not in use. until the job is completed.
How does Chameleon-SML uses location
The Location feature allows you to share your real-time location within a specified interval of time with web portal. You can control whether to share your location or not with the web portal users. You can also stop sharing your location at any time. Once stopped, your location will be no longer be shared.
Enable your location
- Enable location permissions for Chameleon – SML in your phone's Settings > Apps & notifications > Advanced > App permissions > Location > turn on Chameleon – SML . Alternatively, if you recently opened Chameleon – SML , you can go to your phone's Settings > Apps & notifications > Chameleon – SML > Permissions > turn on Location.
Disable your location
1. You can disable location permissions for Chameleon – SML at any time by going to your phone's Settings > Apps & notifications > Advanced > App permissions > Location > turn off Chameleon – SML .
2. Alternatively, if you recently opened Chameleon – SML , you can go to your phone's Settings > Apps & notifications > Chameleon – SML > Permissions > turn off Location.
IOS:
Chameleon- SML collects location data to enable user tracking when user start a job only when the app is in use or running in background. When App is killed we do not track location.
We collect and use precise location information from your device in specified interval with your permission when you start any trip in "Chameleon - SML" application until your trip is completed.
Following example is the detail description of how location services are being used.
Steps:

Log Data
I want to inform you that whenever you
use my Service, in a case of an error in the app
I collect data and information (through third-party
products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may
include information such as your device Internet Protocol
(“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the
configuration of the app when utilizing my Service,
the time and date of your use of the Service, and other
statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are
commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent
to your browser from the websites that you visit and are
stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However,
the app may use third-party code and libraries that use
“cookies” to collect information and improve their services.
You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies
and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you
choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some
portions of this Service.
